The outbreak of E.Coli

But according to my biology teacher in my secondary days, I was made to made to believe that some bacterias like E.coli are necessary for human body to function properly.

But the recent outbreak of E.coli in the united state, has made me to dig further on why the bacterias that has been confirmed useful for human to survive, is now a dreaded killer?. My insinuation finally paid of here ,

That there are special traits of E.coli bacteria called E. coli O157:H7, a member of the EHEC - enterohemorrhagic E. coli group. Enterohemorrhagic means an intestinally-related (here we are at the Greek word enterikos again) organism which causes hemorrhaging - and therefore, loss of blood.
.

Therefore, the source of the offensive spinach spreading the deadly virus must be tracked down before it gets to other part of the country.

In my years as a pediatric nurse, I have seen children affected by this. It isn't pretty. It is very scary.
