Human life is more precious

If their is going to be a lasting solution to the problems of AIDS that is quickly spreading its tentacles to every nooks and crannies of the world. a dogged and desperate determination is needed and very fast.

The moves made by Yerkes National Primate Research Center to use Sooty Mangabey(a monkey species that are natural carriers of a form of the AIDS virus but do not get sick from it) is being frustrated by animal-protection groups simply because the species are endangered.

What I am saying is that human life is more precious, important and useful, if Yerkes research is going to explore the avenues: why the monkeys are not dying, even though they have the virus in their body and how the research is going to play a positive role in finding a lasting solution to the epidemic that is gradually spreading like wild fire. All these should take the centre stage.

But animal rights groups should not allow their personal interest to take the centre stage, and at the end, blocking every moves that will add more value to human existence.
